Camera Plus Pro - Actual photography!

Ok - so maybe 'actual photography' is a far cry with the built in iphone camera - BUT this app sure ups your camera abilities from the base 'camera app'.

What it does:
It provides a camera app on steroids for your iphone. It brings zoom, tap-anywhere-to-zoom, tap-anywhere-to-take-photo, burst shooting, self-timed shots, grid patterns, anti-shake, tagging, and even geotagging. All of these can be turned on or off (excluding zoom of course). AND that's just the pre-photo effects, after the picture is taken you can edit it in numerous ways (reverse colours (check out my mac keyboard with the colours reversed :P), rotate image, adjust the brightness, adjust the colours (apply lens) - oh goodness there is LOADS that you can do).

Pros:
- As you can see - there really are a bulk of features.
- It remains a simple interface - I'm no camera junkie so the 'iso setting' menu always scared me off.
- The quality of the photos seem to be better than when just using the camera app.
- There's a built in photo storage system on the app itself - called "Quick Roll". This area allows you to individually select each image, edit it to your liking, and then choose one or multiple to move to your iPhone's 'camera roll' in your photo library - this MAY be a con for for some, but personally I like it :D
- There's a built-in 'share' feature so that you can easily publicize your latest shots on youtube, facebook, twitter, or through email.
- There's an auto-save on or off, so you have the choice of saving every photo you take to your quick roll, or you can see the taken first and THEN save it.

Cons:
- No landscape mode - of course you can still take pictures on the side, but until some of the other camera apps it doesn't automatically adjust using the accelerometer.
- No video editing - I didn't expect it, not at all, so I hardly see this as a con, simply something to be aware of.
- Photo saving takes 2 seconds to save into your quick roll, and another 3 or 4 seconds to save that to your camera roll - I mean this is expected, but still a shame.

Price:
Lite is free
Full is $1.99

Overall:
Lite vs full simply seems to be video support or not. That means you get all the features in lite for the single-shot camera mode that you get in the full - not shabby. Of course many of use will want to pay those extra $2 for the video abilities. Personally when I look at the quality of the photos taken and the editing abilities I see that my $2 was WELL spent.

Rating:
4.5/5 - Top notch, I recommend this to everyone who actually wants to get decent pics from their iPhone.
